‘BUSINESS IS MONEY’ utilizing this motto in this commercial world people are trying to earn money in various ways-sometimes cheating people, sometimes demanding more money than their services, sometimes alluring people to give a job applying various tricks. Commercial thinking is also applied in case of education. In case of privet institutional learning, training or teaching, it is very much true. Some institutions now use a modern technique E-LEARNING training/course to deliver knowledge. But there is a question always peeps into my mind how can an institution teach a student through E-LEARNING without giving them practical knowledge. It is totally absurd-nothing more than snatch money from some simple people.

What I now tell you about a particular course, PRE FLIGHT CABIN CREW COURSE. Many institutions use different names to publish their course. The terms cabin crew, flight attendant, air hostess (for female), flight steward, flight stewardess (for female) are all the same. Different names but same product. For convenience, I use the term CABIN CREW throughout my discussion.

Special Note:

All airlines around the world conduct their own cabin crew training that is required under international aviation rules. Airlines operate a wide range of aircrafts with its’ specific operating and safety conditions, and airlines carry out their training to suit those aircrafts and their in-house rules. Because you don’t know in which airline you get job, so it is not necessary to attend a specific cabin crew training course prior to making your application to an airline. What you will need is to meet the airlines’ basic entry criteria & have some general knowledge.

There are lots of people who get cabin crew jobs without doing any pre cabin crew course. If you have no physical ability, smartness and common sense, no airline will employ you; although you have passed a pre flight cabin crew course. Your first target should be getting a cabin crew job in an airline without wasting your money and time. If you get a job, the particular airline will train you properly for adapting their systems.

So, what should you do now? Just take preparation for interview or viva for a particular airline you apply and build up yourself mentally and physically to show you glamorous, confident, smart and perfectly fit for the job.

Develop your general knowledge about various aspects of cabin crew job & travel, tourism or hospitality, airlines. However, it is very important to know about the particular airlines you apply, its founder, chairman, director, its routes (i.e. which country the airlines are in operation), etc. If selection bodies ask you about cabin crew & airlines related questions, so that you do not feel embarrassed.
